Classes Terms
Payment
All classes must be paid in full at the time of booking through our website.
We do not accept payments over the phone or reserve places without payment.
Your booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received.
All class bookings are non-transferable without prior approval.
Booking Window
Available classes can be booked up to 3 days before the scheduled class date, subject to availability.
Spaces are limited and are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once a class reaches full capacity, bookings will close.
Arrival Time
Please arrive 10 minutes before the class start time to allow time for check-in and preparation.
If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not be able to allow participation as the class may already be underway.
Unfortunately, late arrivals cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
All class bookings are non-refundable.
However, if you notify us at least 2 full days before the scheduled class, we may offer an alternative date or class session at our discretion, subject to availability.
If you cancel less than 2 days before the class, we are unable to offer refunds or rescheduling.
Class Cancellation by Us
Occasionally we may need to cancel or reschedule a class due to circumstances such as:
- Low attendance
- Illness
- Venue issues
- Unforeseen circumstances
If this occurs, you will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- A transfer to a future class date
Minimum Attendance
All classes require a minimum number of participants in order to run.
If the minimum attendance is not met, The Ribbon Green reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the class.
In this situation, participants will be offered either:
- A full refund, or
- A transfer to an alternative class date
We will always aim to provide as much notice as possible should this occur.
Class Transfers & Gift Bookings
Class bookings may be transferred to another person if you are unable to attend, provided that you notify us at least 24 hours before the class.
The person attending in your place must meet any age requirements or conditions stated in the class description.
Our classes can also be purchased as gifts. When booking as a gift, please ensure that the recipient is aware of the class date and all relevant terms and conditions.
Age Requirements
Some classes may have minimum age requirements depending on the activities involved.
Children attending classes must be supervised by a responsible adult unless the class is specifically advertised as a drop-off session.
Please check the specific class listing for any age restrictions.
Food Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Our classes may involve ingredients including, but not limited to:
- Wheat (gluten)
- Eggs
- Dairy
- Nuts
- Food colourings
While we take care with preparation, we cannot guarantee that our environment is completely allergen-free.
If you have any allergies or dietary concerns, please contact us before booking to discuss whether the class is suitable.
Health & Safety
All participants must follow the instructions given during the class to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We reserve the right to ask participants to leave the class without refund if behaviour is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
Photography & Social Media
From time to time, we may take photographs or short videos during classes for marketing and social media purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in photographs or videos, please inform us at the beginning of the class and we will respect your request.
Take-Home Items
Participants will usually be able to take home the items they create during the class.
We recommend bringing a suitable bag or container if advised in the class description.
We cannot take responsibility for damage that may occur after items leave our premises.
Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings during the class.
We cannot accept liability for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Payment
All cupcakes, cookie and toppers orders must be paid in full at the time of ordering through our website.

Order Notice
A minimum of 3 days’ notice is required before your requested collection date.
Orders placed with shorter notice may be accepted at our discretion depending on availability.
Order Changes
If you need to make changes to your order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes up to 2 days before the collection date, however changes cannot always be guaranteed once preparation has begun.
Cancellation Policy
If you change your mind after placing your order, refunds are available as follows:
- 100% refund – 3 days before the collection date
- 50% refund – 2 days before the collection date
- 0% refund – 1 day before the collection date
Refunds cannot be issued once preparation of your order has started.
Collection
All cupcakes and cookies are collection only.
Orders must be collected during our opening hours unless otherwise advised.
Opening times can be found in the website footer.
If you are running late, please contact us as soon as possible so we can advise accordingly.
Product Care
Once collected, responsibility for the care and transport of your order transfers to the customer.
Cupcakes and cookies should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
We cannot accept responsibility for damage to products after they have left our premises.
Our Guarantee
We always aim to create your treats exactly as requested and pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products that delight our customers.
Please note that minor variations may occur between digital mock-ups and the final edible product due to the nature of edible materials, colours, and printing processes.
While designs may not match reference images exactly, every effort is made to ensure your final product looks beautiful.
Allergens
Our kitchen handles ingredients that may include:

While we take care in preparation, we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

Inspection on Collection

Once you leave our premises with your order, we cannot accept responsibility or offer adjustments or modifications.
Late Collection
Orders must be collected on the agreed date and within our opening hours.
If an order is not collected on the scheduled day, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you. However, due to the perishable nature of our products, we cannot guarantee the quality of items held beyond the collection date.
Orders that remain uncollected after 24 hours may be disposed of, and refunds will not be issued.
Design & Colour Variations
Where a design reference, inspiration image, or digital mock-up is provided, it is used as a guide only.
Colours, printed images, icing tones, and decorative elements may vary slightly due to:
- Edible printing processes
- Lighting in photographs
- Differences between digital screens and edible materials
By placing an order, you acknowledge that exact replication of images cannot always be guaranteed.
Responsibility After Collection
Once your order has been collected and accepted, responsibility for the safe transport, storage, and handling of the products transfers to the customer.
We recommend transporting cupcakes and cookies on a flat surface in a cool environment and avoiding direct sunlight or heat.
The Ribbon Green cannot accept responsibility for damage caused during transport or after collection.
Force Majeure
In the unlikely event that we are unable to fulfil your order due to circumstances beyond our control (such as severe weather, illness, power outages, or other unforeseen events), we will notify you as soon as possible and offer either:
- A full refund, or
- An alternative collection date where possible

Buttons & Balloons Terms
Payment
All balloon products and services must be paid in full at the time of booking through our website.
We do not accept payments over the phone and do not reserve dates without full payment.
Your booking is only confirmed once payment has been received.
Order Notice
We require the following minimum notice periods:
- Balloon installations and garlands: Minimum 2 weeks’ notice
- Small balloon arrangements for collection: Minimum 3 days’ notice
Orders with shorter notice may be accepted at our discretion depending on availability.
Delivery & Travel Fees
Delivery is available for most postcodes.
Travel costs are charged at £0.50 per mile for the round trip from our studio:

Delivery and installation fees will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Balloon Installation & Set-Up
For balloon garlands and installations, we require sufficient access to the venue prior to the event to allow time for proper setup.
Setup time will vary depending on the size and complexity of the installation.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that:
- Venue access is arranged
- The installation area is clear and ready
- Any venue permissions have been obtained where required
Delays caused by venue restrictions or lack of access may affect the final setup.
Small Balloon Arrangements – Pick-Up
Small balloon arrangements are available for collection only.
Orders must be collected during our opening hours unless otherwise agreed.
Opening times can be found in the website footer.
Once balloons have been collected, responsibility transfers to the customer.
Cancellation Policy – Balloon Installations
If you need to cancel your balloon installation booking, refunds are available as follows:
- 100% refund – 2 full weeks before the event date
- 50% refund – 1 full week before the event date
- 25% refund – 3 full days before the event date
- 0% refund – 2 full days before the event date
Once preparation has begun, refunds cannot be issued.
Balloon Lifespan
Balloons are temporary decorative items and their lifespan can vary depending on environmental conditions.
Factors that can affect balloons include:
- Heat
- Cold temperatures
- Wind
- Direct sunlight
- Humidity
- Sharp surfaces
While we use high-quality materials, we cannot guarantee how long balloons will last after installation or collection.
Balloon Care & Handling
Balloons are delicate decorative items and should be handled with care.
Exposure to the following conditions may cause balloons to deflate, pop, or deteriorate more quickly:
- Heat or direct sunlight
- Cold temperatures
- Wind or outdoor exposure
- Sharp objects or rough surfaces
- Contact from guests, particularly children
Once balloons have been installed or collected, The Ribbon Green cannot guarantee their lifespan and cannot be held responsible for any damage, popping, or deflation caused by environmental conditions or handling.
By placing your order, you acknowledge that balloons are temporary decorations and their longevity cannot be guaranteed.
Outdoor Installations
Outdoor balloon displays are not guaranteed due to weather conditions.
Exposure to wind, rain, heat, or direct sunlight may significantly reduce the lifespan of balloons.
The Ribbon Green cannot be held responsible for damage caused by weather or environmental conditions.
Damage After Installation or Collection
Once balloons have been installed or collected, responsibility transfers to the client.
We cannot be held responsible for damage caused by:
- Guests or children
- Movement of displays
- Weather conditions
- Venue staff interference
- Contact with sharp surfaces
Design Variations
Where inspiration images or design references are provided, they are used as a guide only.
Final balloon displays may vary slightly depending on:
- Balloon availability
- Colour batches
- Venue conditions
- Structural requirements for installation
We will always aim to deliver a beautiful and balanced display that reflects the agreed design.
Removal of Installations
Balloon installations are temporary decorations.
Unless removal has been agreed in advance, it is the client’s responsibility to dispose of balloons after the event.
If removal is required, this must be requested at the time of booking and may incur an additional charge.

Gifts Terms
Payment
All gift orders must be paid in full through our website at the time of purchase.
Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received.

Processing Time
Gift orders are typically processed within 2–3 working days before dispatch unless otherwise stated on the product page.
During busy periods or seasonal promotions, processing times may be slightly longer.
Delivery
All gifts are posted using a tracked delivery service where possible.
Delivery times will vary depending on the shipping method selected and the destination.
Please note that delivery timeframes are estimates and cannot be guaranteed once the parcel has been dispatched.
Delivery Responsibility
Once your order has been dispatched, responsibility for the parcel transfers to the delivery provider.
If your parcel is delayed, lost, or marked as delivered but cannot be located, we will do our best to assist in raising an enquiry with the courier.
Incorrect Address
Customers are responsible for ensuring that delivery addresses are entered correctly at checkout.
We cannot be held responsible for parcels lost due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided at the time of ordering.
Damaged Items
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and include photographs of:
- The damaged item
- The packaging
- The shipping label
We will review the issue and offer a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns unless:
- The item arrives damaged, or
- The wrong item was sent
